Wine growing info
100 % Albariño – 13% volume
Temperature controlled fermentation at 16ºC during 21 days.
Once finished, the wine ages for 13 months in 500 litres barrels made from European oak (French and Hungarian).
With these type of barrels, we get a better lees contact during the ageing and a higher organoleptic contribution from the oak.
Food pairing
Serving temperature: 8 – 10 ºC.
Tasting notes
Visual phase
Straw yellow colour with golden highlights. Clean and bright.
Nose
Elegant and complex, with a combination of ripe fruits aromas (pippin apple, plum, lemon peel) and floral notes of acacia and elderberry. Secondary aromas of aromatic herbs such as bay leaf and chamomile, with subtle touch of almond and sweet spices. The background has a mineral and saline character, with a fine smoked hint resulting in a deep and elegant wine.
Palate
Wide and intense palate, with volume and freshness perfectly balanced. It has a good estructure, very expresive and with fruit, spices and saline notes. The finish is long and persistent.
