100 % Albariño – 12.5% alc. vol.
D.O. Rías Baixas – Subzone: Salnés Valley.
The vineyards are cultivated on slightly acid sandy-loam and granite soils.
Made from the free run must and taken from our oldest vineyards.
Controlled fermentation at 16oC for 21 days. Once finished, the thick lees are eliminated and it is aged on its fine lees, with a weekly “bâtonnage” for 1 year. After aging, it remains in stainless steel tanks for another 4 years, to finally be stabilized and bottled.
Service temperature: 8 – 10 oC.
Straw yellow colour with intense greenish tones and slightly
Medium intensity, with aromas of aromatic herbs (laurel,rosemary), spice (cumin) and tea infusion, (chamomile).
With an elegant background of lees.
The palate is fresh, with good acidity. Unctuous and oily with hints of ripe fruit and toasted tones. Mineral and saline aftertaste.
